Dales Pony

 

HEIGHT: Up to 14.2 h.h. Overheight ponies will be downgraded in the grading-up register.

COLOURS: Black, brown, a few grey and bay, and occasionally roan.

MARKINGS: A white star and/or snip on the head. White fetlocks to the hindlegs only. Mismarked ponies will be down-graded in the grading-up register.

ACTION: Clean, high, straight and true. Going forward on "all fours" with tremendous energy. The knee and hock are lifted, the hindlegs flexed well under the body for powerful drive.

CHARACTER: True pony character. Alert, high-couraged, intelligent and kind.

Dartmoor

 

Height: Not exceeding 12.2 hands (127cm) (50")
Color: Bay, black, brown, chestnut, gray, and roan. Piebald and skewbald are not allowed. Excessive white markings are discouraged. Head and Neck: The head should be small with large kindly eyes and small alert ears. It should be well set on a good neck of medium length. The throat and jaws should be fine and showing no signs of coarseness or throatiness. Stallions have a moderate crest. Body: Of medium length and strong, well-ribbed up and with a good depth of girth giving plenty of heart room. Movement: Low and straight coming from the shoulder with good hock action but without exaggeration. General: the mane and tail should be full and natural. The Dartmoor is a very good-looking riding pony, sturdily built yet with quality.

Deliboz

 

Average withers height is 152 cm, chest girth 172 cm and cannon bone girth 19.4 cm. Deliboz horses differ from others by a clean, short head with a broad forehead and narrow nose, a compact heavy neck, a ribbed massive body with a good top line and an even, long back and loin. Legs are clean and well proportioned and the cannon bone girth is larger than that of other horses.

Døle

 

Bay or brown are the predominate colors of the Døle horse but black and chestnut are also fairly common.  There are a few grays and duns.  Some animals will have white markings on the head and legs, especially among animals of the trotter type.

Exmoor

 

Height: Mares not exceeding 12.2 h.h.; Stallions and Geldings not exceeding 12.3 h.h.
Colours: Bay brown or dun with black points, mealy markings on muzzle round eyes and inside flanks. No white markings anywhere.
Brief Points : Wide forehead, short thick ears. Toad eye. Legs clean and short, with strong cannon bone and hard well shaped feet.
