Karabair

 

The color is bay, chestnut, grey or black. The measurements (in cm) of the purebreds recorded in volume IV of the studbook are: stallions: height at withers 156, chest girth 175, cannon bone girth 20; mares: 151, 178 and 19 respectively. It has a medium-sized clean-cut head with a straight or ram profile, wide jaw, medium-long poll and high set medium-long neck. Some Karabairs may have a shorter heavily muscled neck. It has medium-long, wide and well-muscled loin; regularly sloping and sometimes dropping croup; medium-long shoulders insufficiently sloping; chest well developed in length and width, forequarters more developed than the hindquarters; clean, strong legs with well-defined tendons; correctly-set legs. As a result of insufficient feeding the knee-joints are occasionally underdeveloped and hindlegs may be cow-hocked.

Kiger Mustang

 

The Kiger horses are mostly of dun coloration with dun, grullo ( mouse gray ), red dun and claybank the most common colors. Kigers also can be found in bay and black. The dun horses have a dorsal stripe down their backs and zebra stripes on their legs. Other dun characteristics found on these horses include cobweb marks on their foreheads, ear bars, leg bars and bi-colored manes and tails. They are of compact build, around 14.2hh, with strong legs and very hard feet. Possessing tremendous endurance and a natural ' cow sense' the Kigers are proving themselves as capable, hard working horses.

Kisber Felver

 

A medium sized horse with good ground covering movement, a big boned Thoroughbred conformation and calm temperament. It is a lively but kind horse and possess the depth of stamina and toughness for which its ancestors were noted. Generally you find the Kisbér Félvér to be a very people oriented horse, extremely intelligent and willing to please. They are inquisitive and courageous, and so they are easily trained. Sizes range 15.3 to 17.0 hands. All solid colors including palomino and buckskin.

Kladruby

 

The withers height of Kladruber varies usually from 175 to 180cm, chest girt is approximately 250cm, metacarpus girt is just about 22-23cm, weight often exceeds 700kg.

Knabstrupper

 

The Knabstrup has a beautiful, spotted coat, occurring in many colors and variations. The breed is known for its calmness and friendly temper, intelligence, and aptness to learn. This horse is frequently used in circuses. Knabstrup horses are strong with solid dry limbs and strong hooves. The average height is 15.1 to 16 h.h.

Kustanai

 

Its features include a straight medium-sized head, wide jaws, medium-long and occasionally short poll; medium-long straight and low-set neck; wide and well-muscled, medium-high withers; straight, wide and short back; flat, solid and well-muscled loin; medium-long, occasionally short, nicely-rounded croup; long and high-set shoulders; wide and deep chest; correctly-set legs, well-developed joints, hard hoofs; strong tendons and ligaments; clean and hardy build. The measurements (in cm) of stallions at stud in 1980 were: height at withers 163, oblique body length 161, chest girth 188, cannon bone girth 20.3; mares: 160, 159, 189 and 19.2. Colour: bay, chestnut, reddish-grey, brown.
