Mangalarga Marchador

 

Some morphological information is important for recognizing the Mangalarga Marchador. It is a light horse but strong and well-muscled. The front is light with a triangular head and a pyramidal neck. The body is strong with well-arched ribs. The members show vigorous and well-formed tendons. It is a horse of medium stature, measuring from the withers to the ground between 1,47 to 1,57 meters.

Marwari

 

The Marwari horse stands between 14 and 17 hands depending on it's topographical origin. We have noticed that our foals and fillies are reaching higher and broader proportions by virtue of sustained and complete nutrition. But the average is probably 15 to 16 hands. The Marwari comes in all colours including the boldly coloured ABLAKS - (Piebalds, red & white or Skewbalds, black & white) particularly favoured in India. The body is powerfully proportioned, compact and elegant with round rumps and muscular thighs and shoulders, making a good all round pleasure horse. His natural tendency to perform would make him particularly suitable for dressage. He is a tough, brave and undeniably beautiful horse who has proven his ability to adapt and thrive in most environmental conditions.

Miniature

 

The American Miniature is a "height" breed; they must measure no more than 34 inches in height at maturity. This measurement is the vertical distance from the last hairs at the base of the mane to the ground. These tiny equine are replicas of their larger breed cousins and will look like Quarter Horses, Arabs, Thoroughbreds, and Draft Horses.

Missouri Fox Trotter

 

The distinguished characteristic of the Missouri Fox Trotting Horse is the Fox Trot gait; the horse walks with the front feet and trots with the hind feet. This extremely sure footed gait gives the rider little jar since the hind feet slide into place. The Fox Trot is a rhythm gait and the horse can maintain it for long periods of time with little fatigue. The Missouri Fox Trotter also performs a rapid flat foot walk and a delightful canter.

Mongolian

 

It is a dual-purpose horse, used primarily for riding and carting, but is also used for meat and milk production. The average wither height of males is 128 cm, females 127 cm, but body size varies with environmental conditions.

Morab

 

COLORS : Morabs may be any color and exhibit the white markings expressed by a Morgan or Arabian: star, blaze, white stockings, etc. Registry colors are: Bay, Black, Buckskin, Chestnut, Cremello, Dunn, Gray, & Palomino. Registry color patterns are: Solid, Roan, Overo, Leopard. HEIGHT: A mature Morab will generally range from 14.3 to 15.3 hands.WEIGHT : 950 to 1200 pounds.

Morgan

 

Morgans are characteristically between 14:1 and 15:1 hands, although they range from 13 to 17 hands. They appear more compact than other breeds. Their heads are wide at the eyes and jaw, then tapering to a fine muzzle; their eyes are prominent, large and round; ears are small, pointed and set far apart; and, the neck is full and crested with a prominent throttle.

Mustang

 

Mustangs are found in all colors and combinations, all sizes and builds. Most common are browns, bays, chestnuts, duns; 14-16 hands; slight in build. One very impressive working Bureau of Land Management Mustang was 18 hands. Mustangs are very tough, strong, agile, sound, quick to learn, and when you gain their loyalty, they follow directions easily.

Myako (Miyako)

 

The predominant color is bay or dun and they resemble the Mongolian horse. They stand approximately 14 h.h.
