AnnieAngel's Breeding Mares Training Guide

This guide will take you step by step of how I train my mares for breeding and will help you get the most out of your mares. It is actually very simple and easy to train them this way and works great.

Note: I use the train button to only set in the training method I'm using otherwise i always use repeat as it will prevent you from exhausting your horse.

Diet Note: It is best before training to change the diet to Oat Hay-35, Alfalfa-35, Grain-15, Hot Oats-15.

Endurance Note: During this taining you will need to use Sedate. When your horse reaches 160 endurance it should start gaining in the.40s, at this point use sedate once before training.
When endurance reaches to about 205 it will then only gain in the .30s even after using one sedate, at this point use sedate twice before training and continue to use it anytime you train.

This chart shows how it is done using a AAA born mare. To find the stats to use for a lower mare refer to the chart at the very bottom.

Break in horse, choose Halter as Discipline.

Train the horse in Arena:Obstacle until lvl 10 halter.

At this point you can change the discipline if you want to. Leaving it in halter will leave it at lvl 10, you can change it to Racing, Dressage, Eventing or Gaited and gain lvls with this training method.

Now you will need to train the horse in Arena:Dressage until its intelligence is 150.

Note: At this point you will lose 1 training per turn but it's worth it. Sometimes it may miss 2 training per turn using repeat you can use hyper to use up one of those trains, but I normally don't bother unless it misses 3 using repeat. After a little while you won't lose any trains.

Now you will switch to Gaited:Movement training until the movement is 150.

Now you will switch to Track:Breeze training until the speed is 150.

Your horse will be around age 10 if not younger whne done.

Now what you will do is train Track:Breeze while the horse is not pregnant. This is to keep the speed up with the others stats.

Now after you breed your mare you will use Arena:Dressage this trains almost all the stats except speed, I use it this way only because I've found it has better foals in the trained stats for some reason.

You may want to train further after this, if you do i reccomend training Track Breeze until speed is 170. This ensures that towards the end of the mares breedings the stats will be relativley equal.

Also keep in mind that foals in the beginning won't be as good as foals towards the end as you train the mare more, and remember about the random factor in breeding.
