Irishnut's Comprehensive Guide to Stat Training

Step one start with the new .2 age foal and select "Train"
Now select "break in" and then train the horse one time
Now select "break in" again and train again.
Now Choose "Halter" as the specialty and click "Pick"
Next Highlight "Arena: Obstacle" and click "Train"
Now continue to train in "Obstacle" and click "Repeat"
Now as you can see you have 0 turns left for the day.
Now look at the horse's info, and change the diet, you can also heal and vaccinate if you wish.
Now take a turn and move to the next day,
note you now have six turns again. Also look at the number for Endurance it is 100.20 we can now begin using sedate.
!!Important!! Please notice if you do NOT use sedate, the endurance will not raise as much. Do you see the increase was .76 for the 6 trainings?
~~Always use sedate 1 time before clicking repeat to get the most of your Endurance~~
After clicking "Sedate" 1 time the endurance increased by .90 (instead of .76)
Also note that no other stat changed by using sedate or not.
Now you need to continue using Sedate one time and doing 6 trains in Obstacle. Until the Endurance reaches 125.00 or more.

Now it is time to change the specialty (I recommend Dressage or Racing they are the easiest) It does not really matter what specialty you choose but some require more understanding of this method to use.
Now select "Driving" as your type of training and do NOT use sedate any more.!!

Now continue until the Endurance reaches 150.00 or more!!

Please Note!! that once the endurance reaches that number you can now use sedate 1 time again before training and if you look at the two images you will see the difference in the increse of the endurance stat with and without using sedate.

Now as you are training you will notice the increase in all stats slowly decreasing, but you want to pay attention to "Strength" as this is the main stat increased by training in Driving. Once the total increase is .48 or less it is time to switch to Gaited. You might also want to note that on this
horse the Strength stat is at 165 (this will vary depending on the birth stat) sometimes it will only reach 160 or less, and sometimes it will hit closer
to 170. So switch to gaited and continue using Sedate 1 time before training.
Now as you continue to train in Gaited, you want to watch for the endurance stat to reach 200.00, when it does, it is now time to start clicking sedate "2 times" per day, so you click sedate, sedate, then repeat. You will still be using gaited for now.

Now it is time to switch trainings again, as you can see the total increase for Movement is at .48. It does not matter if you choose Track (increases
speed) or Dressage (increases intelligence and movement) I usually choose Track first because speed is usually lowest at this time.

Now listen carefully, it does not matter if you train in track or dressage as both will work fine, I try to train them up more evenly but again no preference, and once the endurance gets a bit higher you won't be able to easily check total stat increase.

This start getting a bit tricky here...
Watch your endurance and when it hits 230.00 it is time to change methods.
If you look at the first image, you will see the endurance is at 230+ and the increase was .30 but if I continue after hitting 230 in endurance
the increase in the endurance stat was .23 now go to the next step.
Now we are still going to begin by clicking Sedate 2 times:
Next we want to click train "not" repeat so we only do 1 training:
Take Note: that the increase for endurance was .05
Again we only click Train (one time more):
Again Note: the increase for endurance was .05
Now it is time to use Sedate again (ONE TIME ONLY)

And finally we can use "Repeat" again and finish off the remaining 4 trainings.

Take Note: the increase to endurance was .20
and if you total all 6 trainings you have .05, .05 and .20 = .30 and that is more than the increase of .23 (the previous section)

The last section:
When you finally get the endurance up to 250.00 (or higher) it is now time to change how you use sedate.
Using sedate wisely will get you the highest possible endurance stat the horse is capable of but...
if you use it unwisely, or not at all, you might loose some endurance Take note: I used the 6 trainings, after clicking sedate 2 times, and the result was -.03 (NEGATIVE) increase .. or decrease in this case to the horse's endurance. Follow the next group of tips and you will never have this problem.
Start with using Sedate 2 times:
Next click train (not repeat) 1 time:
Again click train (not repeat) 1 time (trains remaining will be 4) Then click sedate 1 time:
Now click Train (NOT REPEAT) 2 times
And now click Sedate 1 time:
Finally click "Repeat"
In closing:

The above method works the best for stallions, please be very careful
that you don't retire them (check the age often)

For mares you might want to quit the early parts of the training before the
stat increase is .48 so you can get more time to work on speed and
intelligence. You may also want to do training until the mare is over 10
years of age before you breed her. (there is no easy rule it really depends
on the stats of the mare, and if getting better foals is more of a need
or if getting more foals (like the mare is a special color and you might
not get a foal of that color if you don't breed her every heat cycle)

When wanting to use the horse for various events more than just a high
statted stud. Keep these notes in mind:

1) Track:Breeze, Arena:Dressage and Arena:Western do NOT reduce
the surefoot stat after the stat goes over 200.

2) Trail:Endurance is not recommened to use at all if you want an
Endurance horse use Track:Speed to raise the level, and if you
want an Eventing horse use Arena:Jumping to raise the level.

3) Trail: Endurance, Arena Obstacle, Arena:Discipline,
Gaited:Movement, Arena:Halter, Arena:Jumping and Cattlework
will all start to lower the surefoot stat when used after the surefoot
reaches 200.

4) Arena:Enrage this is a difficult area to train in if you want high stats
it will decrease the levels in other training specialties, and other
training types will decrease the "Bronco" level you have reached.
I recommend if you want a bronco to train up the stats first, then
switch to Bronco then just work on that for levels.
